What is a Credit Union?
A credit union is a cooperative, not-for-profit financial institution organized to promote thrift and provide credit to members. It is member-owned and controlled through a Board of Directors elected by the membership. The Board serves on a volunteer basis.

Are savings deposits in the Credit Union insured?
Yes. All savings accounts are insured up to at least $100,000 by the NCUA, the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the federal government.

Effective April 1, 2006, the NCUA Board increased Retirement Account coverage to $250,000.00. (Traditional, ROTH IRA*'s and Keough Accounts.

What is CU @ HOME?
CU @ HOME is our online banking service allowing members to view their account information online. With this service members can perform the following:
-View and print your balances and account histories.
-Sign up to receive your statements online.
-View copies of canceled checks as they clear your account.
-Apply for a VISA Check Card.
-Transfer funds between your FCCU accounts, including Cross Account transfers between previously designated other accounts.
-Make consumer loan and MasterCard payments from your savings or checking account.
-Get MasterCard cash advances.
-Get Home Equity Line of Credit advances.
-Download account history into Quicken or Money.
-Pay bills online with our Online Bill Pay feature.
-Reset your password (Forgotten Password Set-up allows you to reset your own password.

Is there a fee to use CU @ HOME?
No. First Choice Credit Union does not charge members to access their accounts online.

How do I sign up for CU @ HOME?
From any page on our web site simply click on CU @ HOME which can be found in the upper right corner. You will be required to enter your account number and your CALL 24 PIN. After you log on the first time, you will be prompted to select a new password. (note: new passwords are case sensitive)

What if I forgot my password?
The best way to avoid locking yourself out of home banking is to take a few minutes to answer a few questions within the "Forgotten Password Validation Information" section found within home banking.
This will allow you to go back and answer these security questions allowing you to regain access to your account information 24/7.

If you do not answer the validation questions, you will need to contact our Call Center, (561)641-0100 or (800)449-3328, during business hours and they will re-set your password.

To protect your account against possible fraud, if you enter the incorrect password five times, your account will be blocked for security reasons and you will need to contact our Call Center.

What are e-statements?
E-statements are an electronic version of your regular First Choice Credit Union statement. E-statements are a free option for all FCCU members. Members have the option to receive their statements either by mail or electronically.

What is On-line Bill Paying?
On-line Bill Paying is a service that allows you to set up your monthly payments to be paid automatically from your First Choice Credit Union checking account. You control when the funds will be deducted from your account as well as the amount.

Is there a fee to use On-line Bill Paying?
Our Online Bill Paying Service is FREE to all active users. An activer user pays at least two bills per month using this service.
